Szlif diamentu ma kluczowe znaczenie dla jego piękna. Na ocenę szlifu składają się trzy elementy: proporcje, wykończenie oraz symetria. Każdy z nich oceniany jest w czterostopniowej skali: doskonały (excellent), bardzo dobry (very good) oraz zadowalający (fair).

MASA KARATOWA CARAT

Masa diamentu wyrażana jest w karatach. 1 karat = 0,2 grama, a 1 karat = 100 punktów.

BARWA COLOUR

Barwa większości diamentów mieści się w zakresie od bezbarwnej do lekko żółtawej. Diament idealny jest całkowicie bezbarwny.

CZYSTOŚĆ CLARITY
